How does it work?

1. Bring your item to us

Events are held at The Harlington or Fleet Library on the first Saturday of every month. If you can’t make it, try North Hampshire Repair Cafe, Farnham Repair Cafe, or any others in the local area.

2. Tell us all about it

When you arrive, we’ll ask you to complete a form with your contact information and details about your item. The form and your item stay with you in the repair cafe.

3. Wait your turn

The repair cafe is first come, first served. You may need to queue – and, if one type of repair is very popular, we may ask you to come back next month. We recommend arriving as early as you can!

4. Find your repairer

Our volunteers will match you with one of our skilled repairers, who will take a look. All our repairers are volunteers, and while they’ll do their best, we can’t guarantee to fix your item.

5. Get your item fixed

Your repairer may ask you to buy a replacement part and come back later, or signpost you to other repair options. If they can’t help, you’ll need to recycle or dispose of your item.

6. Donate to help others

We don’t charge for repairs, but we are delighted to accept donations towards our running costs from those who are able to give. We accept cash or card at our sessions.
